4 Door Satelite into a 2 Door

Has anyone ever ever done this?? I did a search with no luck. Looks like the roof line for the rear windows change and the front doors are longer. Anything would help, Im asking because someone is selling a really cheep and clean Satelite in my area but its a 4 door. One day I would like to fix that 4 door issue.

There is a huge change in the roof line, the whole back window is different in shape and size between the 2 dr and the 4 dr, and you're right, the 2 dr door is longer

just buy a 2dr to start with , will save you time head aches and money

Stuart, I had look at doing this once before I found my car. Basically, you will need a 2 door top 'n tail and the doors. Most things will interchange hardware wise like the rear suspension wiring, I think the tank is the same. The top n tail will need the deck lid and glass. The read seat is different, the tails & housings are the same. If it is a really nice car, low mileage and you can find the parts, it is an option, but if you look you can find a 2 door for likely the same or less money.

1969 Satelite. Good stuff I was afraid of that. Ill keep lookin for a solid 2 door. I thought it might be as simple as a chevy Belair 4 door to 2 door.
