Whats everybody doing with it ? I can't believe your all running around on 7 cylinders. But you can't get a boot on the plug with out it touching.

Yeah it sucks to spend 700 on headers to find this out after installation, sorry for ya man.

I tell you...I lost count of how many times I see these headers dinged to fit what they should have fit ootb.

90* boot will work with a lil dinging.

Also google for ceramic plug boots, jacobs made them with a few others for a while.

I have a friend that has a set of headmans on his 65 and it has plenty of room. TTI has had years to fix this, you think they would.

I'm sorry man, but send those back to TTI on their dime, and have them fix them right. You spent an awful lot of money for those, get them to either make a new set that fits, or have them fix, recoat them, and sent back to ya on their dime. It's high time companys start making **** right or suffer the consequences. Dont get me wrong, TTI has great products, but when something this arises as it has numerous times, they must held accountable. I have TTI headers/exhuast, and it mine had any issues, I'd be talking to them.

I put a set of headmans elite headers on my 66 and if that's the only place you have a problem I would be happy. I had to ding the headmans everywhere.
I just don't understand why the companies that build headers can't get it right.
