Any updates on the body shop?
Not really., The painter had to move his operation and got behind with other cars ahead of me apparently, so mine has not had much more done to it, but he says he's back on it now and going to have it ready to paint in a week or so. I told him no rush, just do it right.
That kind of attitude usually keeps you in good graces and lands you a nicely done job instead of a "let's get this thing outta here" job. Can't wait to see it!
Yep I'm anxious but if it takes him till spring that's fine because I won't have a motor ready before then anyway, at the earliest, and the trans needs a rebuild, and a whole lot of other things that I can be getting ready for it. Actually it's kinda nice it being out of my way and kinda like he's storing it for me.
I like the bracket mod. Dash looks great.

I painted the inside of the dash frame with silver, to take care of some surface rust in tight spots that the blaster couldn't get. The outside will be painted black..The reason I used silver on the inside is to help me see better under the dash while working on wiring, etc.. Got that good idea from someone on here, I think he used white, thanks whoever you are..
I do too, but the straps are going in the box on the front of the trailer, and my helmet and jacket are going in the bag.I like the carry bag for them.
Yep! Or how about-- "Dodge Vader"., that's in style lately. Black is the new black. BTW, Funny but I saw three of the 4 ft tall Darth Vader dolls in the check-out line at walmart today, $83 ea., May be the hottest toy this christmas. HO HO HO!You might need to change your screen name to The (Daytona) Kid in Black.
