That is crazy! lol.. Thnx, I emailed him to see if he has a better pair than mine..

Santa came early today! Got these From PG Classic in Canada, took almost a month to get them. These were hard to find new and very pricey. $540 with shipping for the 3 pieces.. I can't test fit them since the dash is at the paint shop but they look really good except for one minor flaw. You may can see in the close-up that the center piece is missing the tiny stitch detail in the groove and top edge. No big deal but for that much money they should be right. I called them and they said they'd say something to the factory and call me to swap mine out after they fix the problem. Funny, they didn't even ask for my phone number, huh, lol.. Won't be holding my breath..
I looked close at Classic Industries' and their's are the same way. I bet they all come from the same chinese factory.

Kid I think customer service is a thing of the past. Now it's take the money and run!

Funny,"PG Classic" emailed me a request to write a product review, THE LINK DIDN'T WORK! LOL.. So I emailed "PG Classic" and told "PG Classic" that I review products on my thread which has 100k+ views and was anxious to write a good review for "PG Classic" when "PG Classic" fixes the problem.
Isn't the internet great! Still holding breath......

Been working on the tail-lights. They are cleaning up nice but a lot of work.

I think I have one from a RR or coronet if that would work in yours. it's kinda on the "ruff" side. if you want it, just send me your address.

Thanks anyway but I'm hoping to find a new or new looking one.. I have a good ashtray but just need a new pad (black preferably) that goes on the slide down door.

just saw one for sale in the interior section for a 68.

Since I just need the pad I think I'll pass on the whole ashtray for $185. lol.. But thanks again! There's one out there somewhere with my name on it.

Funny/Ironic, I really want the dash to be complete (with ashtray) but will never allow a cigarette near this car when done.

Kevin, I love the work done to your tail lights, cool what we can do with what i call a pop can, and the power of elbow grease! there are so many different things out there, I LOVE it myself! Thank's for the pictures, i hope to be back at mine soon, working on it in a way i guess, im having electrical troubles which i do think may be resolved by end of day....

Went by the body shop to check out the progress. They have been a little slow getting going on it but they're going good now and have done a lot lately, working 8am till 12am. Pics can't really show all the work they've done, but seeing it up close in person got me excited. I also saw more examples of his black paint jobs and they were unbelievably slick. Kinda hurts seeing so much of my primer being sanded off but it's doing one of it's jobs as the 1st of many guide coats. The last pic shows a truck they are doing also but not as much work will be done on it as mine. Those guys love what they do and seem to really have fun doing it. I may have to go hang out with them some evening, maybe they'll let me sand or something, lol.. The painter says he is going to extremes with my car because- #1 he knows how much work I've put into it so far, #2 it's such a classic, #3 he knows a lot of people are going to be looking at it, #4 he knows I'm going to be parading it at the strip, club show & shines, rides to the burger joint, etc., and #5 that he wants me to be able to brag on him and his fantastic paint skills. I'm thinking my car is going to be on his next business card.. lol
