Can’t wait on the first test and tune.
Wookie, your car is so awesome and it sounds great in that video.
Can’t wait on the first test and tune.
My first MOPAR was a stock 71 Charger R/T I bought back in 1978. 16 yrs old starting my senior year in high school. Yellow and black, of course, but InViolet/Plum Crazy has taken the place of B5 blue as my 2nd favorite MOPAR paint color behind Lemon TwistThanks man.
The question then becomes where do you draw the line? 9’s quickly become 8.50 once you upgrade the cage! I’m going to the 8.50 cage but I’d hate to cut that car up beyond that. Yours is much nicer than mine so that’s gotta be a real struggle! If the weather cooperates, the first Friday in May I will hit the track for a test and tune. The season opener is last weekend in May.
As long as I can get 3-4 hits on the car before that to make sure everything is happy, I will be ready to go.
As for the aluminum block it is at machine shop jail. But I’m ok with that right now as the sooner it is done, the sooner I have to pay for it LOL. All kidding aside though, I’d guess they will have it on the machine in the next month or so to get it squared up and measured.
Then the head scratching begins as I know I’ll be in the 9’s with that motor.
I am short some safety equipment to run that fast. Decisions decisions.
---I’m due to beat you. Your 2-0 record against me needs to change.
----I don’t think so.
---Glad you like man. They are a well constructed header. They would fit that 64 I’m sure just fine. Be an interesting test to swap mid season and see if there is any change. Good or bad.
