I sent my '63 hood ornament out to be rechromed at a shop in New Jersey just off an unknown exit. It's been missing ever since it arrived. I had to use my '64 unit on the car. Sonny's right and he gets to keep his name. But for me I lost the '63 emblem and the '64 emblem & spear went with the car when sold...Nick

There was a discussion about this car on a Facebook thread I frequent. Chuck Ostrich and his son Gary (who just passed away last fall) lived in a town near here and had a Mopar dealership. Gary did machine work and was tight with Chryisler Corp. and did some experimental work for them. tmm

What a cool car !! i noticed on the quarter panel it said... "special thanks to P.D.Q"
P.D.Q was a ford only junk yard that my father and i (who was mechanic, now 83 ) use go looking for parts... wow it brings back so meany memory's of my father and i when i was a kid. Thanks for posting !!
