Your photo of Dick Landy was at my home track Dover Drag Strip. I was there for this photo, he had a match race against our local Bill Flynn, The Yankee Peddler.
very interesting picture. 64 dodge, 330- 440-500 ? cant tell from the picture. four headlights, hemi, with no crossram or short track nascar cowl inlet to air cleaner. if it is a nascar car why does it have a street car air cleaner? i cant tell if it has a scoop either. the picture looks to be old. im confused. and what the heck is on the passenger side inner fender panel?. looks to have a roll caView attachment 232007ge also. some ones got some explaining to do.:thinker:
I see the windshield is out and roll cage tubes there also. I wonder if the Hemi is a transplant because of the aftermarket universal upper radiator hose. I would imagine a factory Hemi car would have a preformed hose. Interesting photo. tmm

Great show KD. This photo is true history for me. I met Gary Ostrich at his machine shop in Nevada, Iowa back in the late 70's. Gary passed away last year. He was a Mopar hard charger all his life and worked closely with Chrysler Corp doing experimental engine work. Thanks for the post.
