Dan,.......Sonny can see a 440cid instead of/6...New retirement project made it home. Car is basically in survivor mode, with a bit of work done to the front fender bottoms, some mechanical upkeep on the /6, but it runs and drives. Just a really solid base for a Nostalgia S/S Ride. I've had my eye on another car which may be available soon, so this one may hit the market in the future...

Yep, same car, same owner but faster now.Cool,I remember SPEEDY'S WEDGE at Keystone Raceway Park back in the 70's.
Love that year & body style
Just nothin but low for that car HEMI-ITIS. Love it.
BEAUTIFUL 65! A question on your A/C. Is it a kit from Classic Auto Air, Vintage Air, etc... Factory air or combination of parts? I'd love to put air in my 65.OK, I just got it done this year, have about 600 mile on it. Little explanation of this car, 1965 Belvedere II. The color is Mineral Gray (Dodge color), it has a 512 - hilborn electronic fuel injection, 46RH trans with 3000 lock up stall converter, Dana 60 w/3.73 gears, TTI 3" exhaust, AC, Cruise, Power windows, Power Locks, Power Seats, Power Lumbar, Power trunk Release, GPS touch screen radio, factory tach, factory clock. Rotisserie Restored.

Thanks for the reply, you know there isn't a lot of room under the dash. A combination of factory interior parts and after market compressor and condenser seems like a logical way to go. I just don't want to butcher the car trying to fit a universal type unit. Really like the color, trying to decide a color for my next project a 64 Savoy.I used a vintage air system, however I did use the factory vents in the dash and below the dash. I have an original AC box and parts that I will eventually sell, if you were thinking of original. otherwise the new stuff works good. here is a picture of where i mounted the pump

Yeah, thanks for the info. That color looks really good on the car, nice choice. How do you like the 46RH trans? I looked it up and it seems like a fairly easy swap, though I'd really like to put in a third pedal and 5 or 6 speed. Also, what headlights did you use, I like to look?I put the AC lines under the right fender and relocated the Vintage Air system water lines to go out the correct place of the fire wall.

Really like how you've done the installation. Is the vintage air a universal unit or do they offer a kit for the early B-bodies now. Thanks for the info.Your correct, not much room, here is the vintage air under the dash. the other issue with aftermarket air is, the location of the water lines and ac lines. I prefer the look of stock.
