great project!! Sharp!! I have to do the same thing with them... right now "there are two orders ahead of me." That tells me nothing... it's been 18 months so far...
Coming along, got the 4 wheel Wilwood disc all hooked up, brakes bled and working. Front suspension done and rough alignment done, exhaust system done. Next week install side glass windows and get ready to fire up the motor,
Yes they are 15" rims fronts are 15x6 with P225-70, the rears are 15x7 with P255-70. I wanted the old tall sidewall look for the car. I like how they fit and look. The rear end is setting a little to high for me might lower it a inch or two. That will wait until the car is 100% done
Trying to finish up the 62 Dart and am missing some small parts. I need the special screws that hold the outer headlight ring to the body see the picture . I need one long one and two short ones if anyone has extras I will would like to buy them. Also need need the retainer clip that holds the lower center front grill pc to the body. I have a picture of the part but not the clip. Also need the wire form clip in the picture. I need 20 of them or what ever you have. Can anyone help me out with any or all parts.
Sent the dash to Gary here is his web site address GCARTRIM.COM he does excellent work. The carb spacers are stock thickness spacers for a 413 2x4 engine got them from Dynamic Renovation. They specialize in 2x4 Mopar stuff
Restored the windshield washer pump. powder coated everything and re assembled the unit. This car did not have the windshield washer option so I installed the foot pump option.
Looking good...I can send a pic of the retainer clip but Unfortunatley don't have a spare sorry.
Did you source out the rest?
Question for you ....where did you find the firewall insulation??
I see vans auto llc has it for 1963 .
Got the firewall insulation from Joe Suchy it says for 63 to 65 Dodge/Plymouth but it works for the 62's. Just had to punch one new hole in the LH insulation for my car. I got a couple of the quarter panel trim retainer clip and will just making some new ones using the old ones for my pattern. Found the headlight screws from Pat in Pennsylvania he has been parting out a couple of 62 Darts.
