I would suspect a paper filter too, Given the snorkel location. While that cleaner housing looks similar to mine they are not the same. Something else I’ll need to research.

I blew the picture up, and looks like there is a smaller diameter paper filter there that loads from the top after taking the small lid off. I noticed a red/orange ring around outside of top lid. This would be the top seal of a paper filter.

I have always loved that instrument panel on US. 1962 Plymouths. Our Canadian variants had the plainer Dodge dash. Beautiful car, by the way!
