64 Polara Gen3 Turbo Build

Dominator ecu showed up today and all I have to say is wow. Completely sealed for under hood installation. It's huge! About the size and weight of a laptop. It is very impressive.

I think it does the opposite, it pulled so much money out of LX's pocket he can't afford to eat dinner.....haha

Looks like one hell of a controller though.

Looking good!!! Why set the engine back so far?

Its an optical illusion. There is 2 inches between the back of the head and the firewall

The 6.4 headers turned forward actually fit. I'll need to rearrange the accessories but it looks good

i had to make a profile to ask this question. which is not a big deal as i am one who loves all mopars and b bodies are on the top of the list... anyways what are you doing about the alternator? this is what have been trying to figure out. as i believe that the truck timing cover will work best but am not sure. i love seeing this car as i plan to follow it for here on out.

I've been wrestling with that all week. I think it's going to be a truck cover, a motor plate, a low mount motor plate

Well hey there, jw1997neon...welcome to the forum! Nice to have someone jump right in and ask good questions. How about sliding over to the welcome forum and introducing yourself, you'll probably fit right in here... :)

Like 5.7 says, use the truck timing cover if you can. It keeps the alternator up high on the engine and prevents the possible interferences with the frame rail. To avoid confusion from his picture, he made spacers to mount the car style manifold with the truck timing cover...that would not be your typical installation.

Here is mine with power steering and A/C deleted.

These pictures helped a lot. Im still unsure of exactly what I am going to do. I am thinking truck cover and motor plate.
