If I can offer you any measurements, let me know....
I just dropped my rear axle and spring perch's out of mine last night. I'm punching two new sets of holes "1 3/4" forward" for the spring eyelet bolts to go through. The S/S spring perch holes set the rear axle to far back! The driveshaft is out of the trans by this amount as well.... The shackles were not correct either, as they were angled backwards to far...
FYI:
B/E Super Stock springs use a shorter 20" front segment like an A-body.
They are set up different than the standard passenger car (non s/s) spring 22" B-body front segment length.
Since the inception of Super Stock springs 40 years ago, one has always had to use a 2" longer front hanger to compensate for the shorter front segment.
Rear shackles should be angled forward 30° to allow the tires to plant.
