Also wanted the turn signals in the hood like my rusted to death factory hood so I cut them out and started fiberglassing them into the fiberglass hood.

Forgot to show the hood pins... oops

I made a custom set that lock with access through a small 1/2" opening (No modification to the grille or doors) at the grille headlight doors.

Nice, would you mind sharing more on the hood pins? I was going to add, but any position that would look nice on hood would mess up the grille. Thanks

I literally set the unfinished grille in the car and use that to locate where the pin location needed to be on the headlight assembly bracket. then transferred that location to the hood. a lot of work, but it worked pretty well. pic of lock location attached

Looks like that is the same spot I marked, just didn't seem too secure with the pins I am trying to use, one my other Chargers has the key style that would work, just not as nice as these as the post is too long to secure and if I tighten the bolt for clearance hits the door when opening and closing. price for doing customs.

Yeah it took a lot of finesse to do it without hitting the door. I did have to file a tiny bit off one door edge. Damn stack up tolerances...lol

some shots of the rear suspension and one little shot of the grille before restoration. I made the control arms from mild steel.

A couple shots of the grille after 16 hours of labor and a finished shot of the dash frame with restored vin plate. Both turned out pretty good I think.

Put the car on blocks and started doing some finish work. Then it was time to build a paint both around the car...woohoo

Time for some strips and trim paint. Picture is before I finished taping... I actually extended the tape into the trunk to the first 90 degree bend so the stripes would look all professional like... lol Turned out slick

Thanks that was very tedious work
Yes it is, done it a couple times. if you looked at mine I went the Classic Industries route and wish I would've tackled it again. Your restored looks better than my New. that is some good work.

Now interior crap.... The burlap was also tedious, making the wires then weaving them through the burlap like factory...

Still hadn't used the heat to relax the material and get rid of the wrinkles here.
