Wondering on what the membership thinks...
68 coronet rt convert is worth. Auto console. I believe original drivetrain. Has had a repaint and bodywork. Northern car all its life, meaning used as a car in the rust belt in its early years maybe not so much after a decade or so. Just guessing
Been off the road for a good while but runs, steers, stops and drives. Needs exhaust for sure. Top goes up and down with no issues. Lights work. All there that I could see on a first look.

I dunno, looks like a nice car in good colours though that could be driven as is.

For sure it could be driven as is after it's been given a mechanical inspection and necessary repairs completed. It has no exhaust at present other than head pipes. My concern is what's underneath ?. I did look at the underside and it's lathered with heavy grease. Appears to have been applied many many times over the years. I was allowed to scrape off some but understandably not extensively. Where scraped off looked good. Obviously in the corners and tight spots is my concern. It's what I can't see that concerns me. So with it being a convertible and low numbers and a running driving car, not a show piece and not a complete project where does the value fall ???

The top well is suspect and the Dutchman panel. If you look up inside the trunk hinges look for blisters and rot, the rest is normal stuff... what is it worth is all up to you!

Start at 50k and add for being a convertible and red and subtract the problems like paint and body and there you go... I like it.

I would think low side would be around $30K as it looks like you wouldn't have to go looking for missing parts?
If it runs and drives good, dosen't need the driveline and suspension rebuilt, then I could see it going for $40K?
Just my opinion, I haven't looked up prices in a long time, so I could be way off?
Can't tell condition of the rust and the rest of the car or how correct it is without inspecting it.
I don't know much about the '68 year. I though the head rests were for '69 and up?
Not sure on the radiator either.
