I have seen this problem before on E and B body cars
C body pans { 197 ??? } would sit on the bar on E and B bodies I would guess by seeing your pics your repro pans are the same depth as the C body 197 pan, Like already posted you need the 402 pan , I would bet Mancini ' s or someone similar could get you one.
