Thanks 69! A 55,000 mile rust free body 68 GTX. Did not have to replace a single piece of metal. A 426 2 X 4 Dana stick car with the torque boxes, rear frame gussets and dble pinion plate. You're doing a terrific job on yours!

Forgive me if you've mentioned it already but what kind of paint is that?, is that clear coated? Details plz..

The paint is Sikkens, Lessenol, base, clear. Enamel The only down side to this brand of paint was they didn't have a formula so they had to match it from PPG B5, 2019. I bought a pint just for that. Painter preferred that brand. It has 1 coat of clear currently, after all the panels are installed and gapped he said he'd put a couple more coats of clear on, sand & buff.

I cant wait to see this when it has the stripes and its all coming together, More clear is "really" going to put some sparkle/shine to her!!! I cant imagine being at this point on my build and the more i see these cars like this the more i want to be there, Life and finances do happen but its all part of a project, the waiting is the hard part and ill bet you had to do some yourself one way or the other.. I love it though and think if it were just that easy it would somehow take some of the fun away.. She is looking MORE then fine.. Good wish's your way bud!!!
