More progress.

Well Year One put another glass shipment in the truck last night. They assured me they would take extra care with the packing. Should see it Monday I think.

Stopped by the body shop Fri. they have the1/4s, doors, trunklid, all in primer and ready to block. The fron fenders are on and gapped and getting whipped into shape. I'm thinking by the end of the week it should be ready to block the whole car. Maybe next week some jamming!

Moving along nicely. Bet you can't wait!

No I can't! Got my second shippment of glass. It was packaged much better and damage free, yea !!!! Headed to the body shop to check progress & drop off some $. I really like the guy who's doing my work! He lets me know every couple weeks where we are in terms of hours & $. I took the car to him in late Aug. It did sit for a week or two while he was finishing a Vette and another project. He has about 160 hours in it so far. I think he only has the front fenders to finish up before blocking. He told me at the start that a job like this is usually about 200 hrs. I'd give a A+ so far for being on budget & time. Can't wait to get her home and start bolting stuff together. I've got to come up with a name for her/him though.

My phone camera doesn't show the color very well but it's B5 progress!!!!

You really are making some great progress!! Looks pretty good with the picture here!

Thanks Ron, I think I can see light at the end of the body work tunnel.

Think I just scored a AC kit for the GTX! Can't wait to get it! This will work out great, I can get the holes in the firewall before paint!

Stopped by the shop last night, everthing is in primer now and the blocking has started. :hello2:

Took the AC box to the body shop last night and fitted it to the firewall. They said she's going in the booth late this week! Yippee!!!! They were just touching up the engine bay when I was there. Super pumped to see her in B5 again.

Had a good day, got the XV frame connectors in. I give them a c+ for fit. Outside of rail fit great, inside leg however was about .300 to long so had to trim the entire side on both pieces. Took about 2 hours per piece to get fitted up. Take the extra time to get a good fit with as little gap as possible it will make your welding job MUCH easier! US Cartool torque boxes get a B+ for fit. Took very little to get a good fitup. Welded up all the extra holes from shifter cables and other stuff over the years.

for a GTX is RS23 RH23 is a satellite RM23 is roadrunner
