Installed I measured for length of travel, 6" from unsprung to the bumper just touching the pad.

I was wondering if there would be any harm in taking .5" of material off the compression bumper on the LCA. I'm thinking I'll get it aligned with 3" of compression travel at the wheel and then lower it 1.5" at the track. Does that sound safe feasible? BTW make sure you don't forget to clear the splash guard on the rotor when lifting. Don't ask why I bring this up.:BangHead:

So here is the fitting I'm using for the return line. A JIC 3/8 flare fitting with the crimp collet removed. Should work ok for the 11/32 return line hose. I call Trail gear to see if they had a metric/std fitting with 1/4 flare instead of 3/8. They do not. So I guess I'm going to put a flare reducer on the fitting to get it to 1/4. Your probably wondering why I don't just buy the Borgsen hose/fitting kit. First it's 95$ to your door, second if I'd happen to pop the factory line I'm allot more likely to find a OEM hose than sitting around waiting for the custom one to show up. Anyway we'll see how fugly it looks when assembled then go from there.

Ta Da, problem fixed, and doesn't look to ugly! Showard, you need me to hook you up?

Update, the adapter doesn't work. I may have to modify the trail gear piece.

Not sure if I'll ever put air back on mine but good info incase I do., thnx

Thanks 74, getting closer. Looking forward to the first burnout!

Well strike 2 on the adapter fitting for the pressure side. I assumed it was 1/4 flare but nope. So I may have to modify the one fitting, back to the drawing board again.

It's so much harder when not using OEM stuff. Putting AC on a 6 barrel set up for instance. But it will all be worth it in the end.

Cutting 1/2" off the bumper is no big deal, what would you need to lower it at the track for?

Trying to get the full 5 inches of travel (up) on the front as recommended by Cal Trac. From what I measured I have 6" total of travel at the wheel. I thought if I could get another inch by mod ding the rubber stops it would allow me to make a smaller change at the track. Maybe I'm over thinking it but thought it be easier to address now.
