Tim,
You must be busy at work or something. Haven't heard from you for a wile.

Yes, work & my grandmothers health is not good so that's been taking up a lot of my time. Along with a storm that just came through last weekend and took a big limb out of Carol's (my better half) tree. Punched 3 holes in the roof, smashed the kennel fence, and generally made a mess. Got the last load cut up and loaded last night.

So I did get a little time in 2 weeks ago. Dug around till I found my roof rail trim.

Notice the paint from the last paint job! I buffed it all up and cleaned the surface for the foam seal.

Applied 3M spray adhesive to both surfaces and applied the foam. Now I just need to figure out the correct screw to attach them.

Thanks Dad! Now I can get those installed. BTW did I mention I just love the color of your car!

BTW I had the buffer grab my door panel trim and wad it up. If anyone has a spare they'd part with.

Awe man that sucks. I had the same thing happen to one of the headlight trim pieces. Luckily FBBO members came through, I'm sure they'll do the same for you.

I was focused in on what I was doing, the other side grabbed it. :BangHead:

So I got a little garage time on the X. I got the roof rail trim installed.

I first installed the trim with all the screws loose, then started at the top of the wingvent and worked both ways tightening the screws. I had a couple on both sides that didn't want to pull down so had to use a larger screw.

I had laid the seals out for a week to get the curl from packing out of them. Instructions say to glue these in. I didn't for now, just in case I have to pull them off later for something. The seal has a notch (picture) that fits the bottom front of trim. I was able to put them in ok with my fingers and a popsicle stick.

And well there was this!

At some point I think I have a drip from either the PS hose/ cooler. I wiped everything off and I will see if I can locate where the leak is! I'm sure it's probably those darn spring clamps and new hose.

Also a shout out to Joel for some trim parts. We really do have some great members here! BTW Mopars on the Mississippi is this Sunday. I will be there.
