So I have to replace my torsion bar crossmember on my 69 Plymouth, I know I’m gonna have to gut the interior and remove the torsion bars, curious from the people that have replaced theirs what all am I gonna have to take apart and remove to to do the job? Thanks in advance!

The only one I ever did was on a 67 and I had to replace the floor pan also. Not to bad with the floor pan out.

My body man had to repair my '70 Charger torsion bar crossmember when the floor pans were done. The center section was good, he just welded on the end sections from a new AMD part. I imagine he did it this way to avoid having issues with the aftermarket crossmember length not being perfect compared to the original.
