welp we are proud owners of a 69 RR!!! got it for 5500$ looking forward to getting it in our garage and seeing what we got. how hard is it to find a front bench seat for them? do you have to get one out of a 69 or are they the same through so many years??

Depends on how stock you wish to keep it. You probably have some leeway as far as the seat is concerned. May need to make new holes in the floor if you can't find an exact match.

I believe you will find 68-70 bench seats interchange with only seat pattern being different. And maybe the latches and covers on the side varying slightly as well. Other than that they should bolt right into the same holes as the floorpan is the same. 66-67 may even fit too.

Roads64, if this is truly a "numbers matching" car I would take it back to factory. Numbers matching are hard to find these days and are worth a ton when you find them. Good luck with the project! Looking forward to watching it go together

Yeah we got the numbers off it and it all checks out! We are planning to put it back to original also.

Yup used a 66-67 Satelite seat. Legendary covers fit, only issue is the mounting studs are about a half inch off. Not a big deal for Me.
