I would like some tips on the dash removal on a 69 Super Bee. I would like any special items to pay attention to or tricks from experienced restorers so I do not damage items. I am going to remove the windshield and remove the steering column to get started. Any tips, tricks or will be appreciated.

Ed Cook welcome to the forum you will find a lot of great people here.

To remove the dash is fairly straight forward. the first two things you mentioned will be the first things to do. once the column and windshield are removed next unplug the three connectors from the bulkhead connector in the engine bay. then remove the bulkhead connector from the firewal by pushing it back inside the cabin. next remove the kick panels and disconnect the dome light switches and dome light connector then the park brake switch and brake pedal stop lamp switch and the rear wiring harness on left kick panel area . unhook the radio antenna from radio. next unhook the heater blower wire from heater box and then the heater control cables and defrost hoses from heater box. next unhook speedo cable. make lables to lable everything so it goes back without hitch and take lots of pics. once all that is done
remove the a pillar trim both sides then remove the 5 screws along top of dash and heres where so help will come in handy you see there is one bolt on eack side of the dash frame bolting it to the kick panel area have someone hold the dash in place and loosen those two bolts enough that you can lift the dash up and off of them. they are open slots. and the dash is out. if i missed anything i'm sure someone will chime in.

Oh and also if you have a factory tach you will see the wire grommet to the right and below the bulkhead connector. unplug the wire at the connector on the engine bay side and remove the wire grommet and all by pushing it out from engine bay to cabin of car.
