Welcome to FBBO from NorCal Sierras
this really should be in a different forum section here
this is the welcome wagon, not really a Q&A or tech section
but; you asked I'll give my opinion between the 2
I've had BFG Radial T/As on most all of my street cars
a few 4x4s too (but seem to wear well)
not the best for traction with any real power, they handle relatively well
my 68 RR p245/60/15 front & p295/50/15 rears
but had good luck with them
(
I've had a set on my RR for near 20 years, since Dec. 2005 no issues,
changing because of casing age)
I just kept them clean & check the air a couple times a year
been garage kept all the time I've had it,
so no weather issues/dry rot or cracks, some seem to complain about...
I've had Coopers in 33x12s AT/MT on my old truck, 95 Power Ram
lasted barely a year, too soft, and wore out really fast,
just like the org. 31.5x10.5" Good Year Wranglers I had prior,
cupped/worn badly, on the windy *** roads up here...
Between the 2 sets only like 19k-20k miles (maybe a lil' more)
(no alignment issues or shock issues, I checked etc.)
I had them replaced anyway, got tired of the BS from the company...
I replaced them with Toyo Open County AT/MS...
(not a huge fan of the lettering either)
I have the same tires on my current truck, great tires
still lots of tread on them, 99 Dakota SLT 4x4,
20 years old now too, great tires 41k+ (60k on the truck) still 1/2 the tread left
need to be replaced because of the age of the casings, but great in snow or mud
been garage kept most their lives so no cracking or dry rot...
I Had Coopers Cobra GTs 60's/15" on Cragers on a 68 Barracuda,
383 4 speed I owned a while back, mainly because they were cheaper...
(live & learn)
I never got really good wear or life out of them,
squealed quite a bit while turning too,
not a bunch of straight open roads up here
Compared to my BFGs, not as good handling or wear/longevity
I don't like the raised white letters either on the Coopers
compared to the BFGs
but they were cheaper than the BFGs
But;
I wasn't satisfied with the quality, handling/esthetics or longevity myself...
Some seem to love them
I'm not one of them
good luck
