Progress!!
Somebody posted recently about how to do that. Something about wrapping the socket with cellophane or something like that.Looking good. One of these days you guys are going to have to teach me how y'all tighten painted bolts without destroying the paint.
I don’t remember the exact brand. I can look when I get home. It was only like $129. It works well. I had to replace the tips a couple times because of so many spot welds.Same here. Nice work!
What spot welder did you buy/use?
Hello, thanks for reading through my thread. I had to replace the upper Cowell yes. I ordered an upper Cowell panel from AMD. I’ll look for pictures. The car actually came from the East Coast. I believe it was in North Carolina originally. I have a lot of the original documentation/insurance cards/registration. A guy bought it from there out of a barn and was going to restore it as a retirement project but changed his mind. I purchased it about six years ago and had it shipped from the East Coast over to CaliforniaJust read the whole thread. Great job and looking good!
You mentioned work on cowl. What did you do? Any pics of that?
I know you’re in CA, where did the car come from?
