Ok guys, which is the correct strap for a 70 GTX from Lynchroad? I have 2 different styles of straps. As you can see one style is straight and the other lays to the one side.

They were both the same at one time! Don't use the damaged one

Unfortunately the one that is bent is not damaged. Both bent ones came off the same sway bar. There are no marks what so ever on them. They are bent perfectly at the bottom flanges. The other two that are straight, came on another sway bar. I looked in the parts book and they list one number for both B & E bodies. That's why I am asking.

All I can say is they are to be straight, just like your top one.
Your bottom one is somehow bent, each side is a different length. Now look at the bushing that goes into that bracket, it is straight and even sides.

Another way they bent is people hook a tow strap to the sway bar and it bends these easily with no marks.

I had a St Louis '70 GTX and the straps were normal (straight) - that lower one looks funky to me - as in bent like a three dollar bill.

Just try and buy 70 swaybar bushings that will fit in that bent one... :) Maybe they are not marked up but maybe the swaybar took the hit.
