It's amazing to see them come back from the dead. I wish I had that dolly setup and a nice smooth garage floor, but I could be working with worse than what I have so I won't complain too much.
I love it...super cool car....nice nice.. makes me even more excited to get on the '73 SE I just aquired...love to talk about parts if you're interested, pm if there's a chanceI bought this car back in 2018 and its sat on the side lines until I finished my Power Wagon Earlier this year. I love 71's and have a ton of spare parts for these so its time I put them on a car!
It will keep the SE trim cause I think it has class and not just another clone.
Its a numbers matching 383 N code Auto, but that's all out the window. The plan is 440 4-speed 3.55 rear. Its also gold with the gold/cream colored interior so that's out the window too.
Couple pics the day I drug it home. The engine block and heads were in the trunk. LOL

What do the rear louvers look like on that hood? It will determine the year.Maybe that's why the hood on it now is hitting..I was under the impression that it has the wrong hood now..thanks for the tip.

Actually don't have a good pic of it, I'll have to take a good one and get some measurements of the louvers too. But they do span almost the whole width of the hood

I'm almost certain it's a '72...but I'll confirm...and thanks for the tip... I knew something was up because there's no way physically that it could ever close to second latch... without notching the metal edge on each side just a bitIf the louvers have no gap in the center its a 71 hood, small gap in the center is a 72. Both would need to trimmed where mentioned above. 73 has a wide gap in the center, and 74 has no louvers.
That's a Porche window you see there, and a yellow vette and a mustang.. none of which he would part with...I only got the Charger because he really wanted my Javelin...Glad to see that car get saved. Looks like there's a C4 Vette next to it needing saved too. What was behind the Charger? Kinda looks like an early C3 Vette window, but a little tall.
If I may chime in for a second...I am in need indeed for interior seating for a '73 Charger SE... just puttin it out there..I'm going to build it,but the 4 speed N96 71 Charger R/T that I bought the fender from you for is for sale.
Correction, red is a Vette, and there's a yellow 70'ish vett right behind it and that is a Porche directly behind it... didn't ask to many questions about them, but I did ask, "are any of them for sale". Answer was "hell no"..914? Vette looks red, or "pink." I don't see a Mustang, what year/trim was it?
A Javelin is a sweet car to part with. They look sharp anyway, I don't know much else about them.
Drooling over here.... thanks brother, I absolutely love it.... I'm so ready to be able to drive mine....
