After I finished the rear end I dug into the transmission. Kinda crusty on the outside but inside it was real nice. I torn it completely regardless. Used a full rebuild kit and new brass from Brewers.

Had a delivery this morning. 7 months start to finish. Loaded up the 74 for its treatment.

The paint looks great on the 71! I got rid of those generic side marker lights on my 73 Charger, you may want to do the same thing on your 74,before it goes to paint. I went with 68 marker lights on my 73.

74 is staying factory with the exception of Slots. Quardtriple black U code Rallye.

Yes the skylight is the truck sunroof starting in 74. Lots of pics in the "What did you do to your Mopar today" Thread. never did a resto thread on it. Just sold it about a month ago to focus on the Chargers and get a lift.

Spent the weekend fitting the frame connectors and wire wheeling the underside. None undercoat car so there was a light surface rust overall that looked worse then it was. Once I receive the new brake and fuel lines and get those installed I will weld up the connectors and shoot the underside with grey SPI epoxy.

That is one clean underside... Are the frame connectors a pre-fab kit , or did you have to make them yourself?

Doing front and rear torque boxes too. I was really hoping to get these done before paint but did not have the lift yet so protecting it well.

Got all the fuel lines in and mocked up the e-brake cables so I could modify the frame connectors for them. I used the original lines as a pattern for the new ones, I will say they were fairly close just needed some massaging. Connectors are in place. Next are the torque boxes.

Got the front and rear torque boxes in today, almost ready for epoxy. Ran out of welding wire so I will finish it up Saturday when I can get to Tractor Supply to get another roll.

My ECS door decal showed up today after making a US tour for a month thanks to USPS!

74 440 I bought here a couple years ago from @Ghostrider 67

30 over, full block prep. Forged crank. Speed Pro L-2355 pistons, 440 Source I-Beams, fully balanced. I use my original 383 346 heads with a full 3 angle valve job, hardened exhaust seats and new valves. Lunati Voodoo 30702 cam kit. Performer RPM, and will run an 800 AVS for now.
