71 Charger Superbee Tribute/Restomod Build

Do you have a set of dies for doing that type of work?
@Virg464 Yes, they are called dimple dies. I got mine from SWAG off road but I am sure there are many other sources like Eastwood. I use a Harbor Freight hydraulic punch out kit to make the size hole I want (or in the case of the smaller ones I just use something like a Blair roto saw which is basically a small hole saw). Then I select the size of dimple die I was to use and use the hydraulic ram which has a pulling action versus a pushing action to create the "dimple".

You could do the same thing with a press or perhaps even a vise (smaller holes).

I have a rather large arbor press and "dimple dies" will make a nice upgrade for future work!

Just spend $1300 at PG Classic buying air grabber parts... :(

By the way they have 20% off for Halloween code is HALLOWS23

I was able to get a few things done today. First is that I got my fuel filter relocated and mounted, this took awhile but I finally got it sorted out.

And finally I finished up mounting the AC condenser. I am including some pictures of the foam I use for mounting the radiator and now the condenser. I get it from Amazon, its cheap and works well, in fact it is super sticky on one side only but it will stay where you put it. Next I have to bend/make the SS hard lines on the condenser/dryer.

Oh and I was able to get my Hemi throttle body mounted to the LS to 4150 adapter. There is just enough room to sneak the screws in.

Got my AC hard lines made and installed. I used SSF-6 from Muggy Weld which is super easy to use, you can do it with propane, MAP gas or Oxyacetylene.

The intake is a Holley single plane, the throttle body is a stock factory 5.7 Hemi unit. The adapter is a LS 90MM to 4150 adapter from Holley.
So, basically it's a single barrel setup? Granted that barrel is over 3.5"!

I wrapped my oil lines yesterday. I am having to modify the hood latch brace that connects to the bottom of the radiator core support (2 slots in front). In stock form there are 2 bolts that come from the inside to the outside and bolts into the brace but my radiator covers the area where the bolts would be so I am having to make a slider plate that will remain in place and then I will use nuts on the outside.
