71 Wing Cars

That is cool that he knew what you were talking about most would be like what? So that is cool keep us posted on it. There is a market for these kits and the more parts get put out there for 71-74 cars more will get saved and turned into different animals.

They reproduce them or at least the parts. Like you said I like that one off things. My shop truck is a 84 dodge d150 petty blue tribute truck. People know my shop!:headbang:
 
Well... The guy showed up tonight after 10 mins. i could tell he knew his stuff. He said there is a dvd on how to build the nose cone on the internet. He ordered it and said he was going to get on it. I told him that the wing was ordered and i needed help mounting. He ask if i was mounting on the quater panels I said no trunk. He said that he could fab the mounting or me......Is this a dream??? Again I will post pictures soon. He took a down payment and the car. The uprights for the wing should be here this week. He laughed and said that he will try to have it one before the 21st or the end of the world.

He said 1000 or less still. The wing mounting is extra. he was excited to get started. Or work is slow.He may get started and say what have I got into....I know better I seen his work on his web page. He's a guy that you can tell knows his stuff. I will keep you guy posted GOOD OR BAD!!!
 
Is the nose going to be built out of steel or fiberglass?

Otr, I don't know. He said that he ordered a dvd from the internet that showed how the 71 wings cars were made. He said it took a lot of pages to go through on the net to find it. he call someone and they gave him a phone number to call. Now I'm not a fabacator. But this guy only smiled when I showed him what I thought. Again, I maybe the guinea pig here for the first one he does. and maybe its cheaper for that reason....I will say this again he is a Mopar man and is excited to be involed with this project. He said what "gary and pam and whom ever else did a great job and so can I"....

Hi Guys, I was just about to update. I got the uprights for the wing yesterday. I took it to my Fab guy today. He ha not started on car yet... Waiting on dvd to see if it will help him on nose fab. He is goin to fab the wing uprights so I can get the horazonal part of wing from Ted. I forgot to take pictures of the wing uprights.. They looked nice real nice happy with Teds work...I'm not sure if anything is going to happen before Christmas.... Thats ok though I THINK I CAN... I will keep it updated!!! Merry Christmas Guys and Gals.....Pray for peace.......
