'72 and '73 charger

trying to get more pics downloaded.

he just took the heads and intake off a 383 magnum and put them on the 400.

Just trying to clarify. There is no such thing as a "magnum" head. Same casting as a 383 2V, just different valve springs. (in 69 ALL Mopar big blocks used the exact same head casting except the Hemi, and possibly some motorhome motors). Intake from a 383 road runner motor was also no different than from a 383 4 V in a C body

Yep. and the heads are affectionately known as "906" in the Mopar World. it's the last three digits in the casting number.

How much for just the 73 Rallye?

he's asking $1500 for just the rallye and $ 3000 for the just the '72, package deal is $4000.will consider partial trades.you will have call him for more dealings.

Hey did ya ever find the 340? If not thats ok. Im still having money problems. I am going back to work full time now. So Im still interested in the Rallye... I wish I could buy it now!

no i don't think he found the 340 for it yet or he would have told me at his mom's services on thursday, he still has the car though, along with the other charger.i will tell him you are still interested in it though. When you get a chance let me or him know when you are ready to do the deal.

ok i will and tell him if he cant get the 340 dont sweat it. ill try to get the money asap. thank you much.

ok will do.i'll still have him look for the 340,it would be kinda nice to have the orig motor for the car though. He does have the car in his garage now kinda giving it the look over treatment, but i don't think that will change the price on it.

yea orig engine would be nice would probably increase price. if he buys it back seeing they cost so much he'll increase it. which is ok. for him atleast lol. also if any one else comes forward dont wait up... i know its a stupid thing o say but i am 15 and if he gets a deal i am extremely happy for him. i can learn to wait.

i've known this guy for over 22 yrs and he would not cheat you or anybody else like that and i would make sure he doesn't.If he did find the orig motor,i'm sure he's not going to start running down the street screaming he just found gold.:rolling::rolling:
