72 RR Eng harness..

Took the advice from a friend and decided to do the electrical finishing touches before the paint...because of all the pushing around.....kinda a good idea...
Bought recently and installed the engine harness/ wiper harness/ Neutral safety switch harness....and off flea bay a complete lght harness.
As far a ign systems ive got a MSD 6 / Blaster 2 coil/MSD Distributor.
Been going off a elec diagram for the most part.

has a alternator regulator in the diagram but I dont think I have one...
I would assume its prob necessary?

Here are my other Questions:
This is part of the engine harness back of the manifold area..
Can somebody tell me where those two connectors go in the pic

The white prongey do-dadd (looks like a plug)
The black triangle whatchewmacallit with the 2 connectors

i believe,the black one with two female holes is for a voltage regulator,the other 2 look to be for your ballist resitor,what year harness is this for, auction you won said it was for,it should have two of the white connnectors to plug into both sides of the ballist resitor.i am guessing this was for a electronic ignition?

The lght harness is from a auction - This was ordered year specific from yr one for a BB-72

72 Blue is correct the triangle shaped plug goes to the voltage regulater and the other two plugs go to the ballast resistor.

Thx guys apreciate the quick answer- And the ballast resistor Is iot the 4 prong I need>?- with the msd thats the one I jump correct....? And if so do I still need to buy it?
