727 no 3rd or reverse fresh rebuild

Just rebuilt my 727 with mopar race kit turbo action cheehta full manual valve body and a 10 inch ati converter new front drum that holds more clutches replaced all seals put in the car set linkage and reverse hardly moves and no 3rd when shifting from 2nd but in when starting out in 3rd it hardly moves but 1and 2 are right there any ideas what could be wrong

Well, iirc the front clutch is applied in 3rd and reverse. I hate to say it, but there could be an issue there.

Ok think one of the seals tore or something inside the drum

Possibly rolled a seal. Are the lip seals on the piston facing the right direction?

Did you check the kickdown/throttle linkage for proper rigging?

They should be Im taking it out tonight to tear it down to see what happen and there isnt any kickdown linkage its full manual now
