73 charger hemi swap column shift

Hey guys. I can’t find any info on this but maybe I’m not entering the correct key words. Looking at swapping a 5.7 into a 73 charger but I’d like to keep the column shift automatic. I’d probably go tti motor mounts and headers but it says the headers don’t work with column shift but shifter linkage can be modified. Any idea what modification they are referring to?
