74 Charger Rallye 440 TX9

Thanks man. I have the one for my hemi 66 and I want it to look really nice outside. Just seeing what everyone else is doing.

When its thoroughly dry I will mask it and spray it with Eastwood Aluma Blast. Stuff works great. This intake is done with it.

Done hundreds of them. Was a dealer tech in the 90's and 90% of my jobs were automatics, gotta love the minivan and the A604.

be careful...... you'll wind up hauling one home with you :poke:

That wouldn't be a problem. Labor for labor trades are good.

Got the case masked off and painted after work today.

Much like an engine, parts need to be super clean, even the rags are lint free Emergency room rags thanks to my ER nurse neighbor lady.

More progress today on the transmission. I will button it up tomorrow.

Agreed on the A604 Jeff. I was a service advisor in the early nineties. When a customer would explain that they come to a complete stop and a few seconds later it felt like they got rear ended, I would always say out loud… Hey, thanks A604. There were so many that at times we’d have dozens of reman units in stock because they were faster to replace than rebuild.

I did so many of those it got to the point I could pull a minivan in the bay at 7:30 am, remove, clean, overhaul, reinstall, and test drive by 4:30 pm.

And in the next bay over we have a plow truck with a burnt up OD unit... The work was never ending.

Did the 90's LeBaron's have the A604's? I know my mom's 92 LeBaron GTC Vert had the trans replaced at least 3 times. LOL
