Had to fix the broken studs in the drivers exhaust manifold so I can use the factory heat shield. PITA, 1/4-20 in cast iron. Was able to get them drilled out with a #8 drill bit then tapped them to clean em up. Was really handy to be able to bolt the manifold to the press. $180 was well spent on this 70's vintage drill press. Also got the exhaust studs installed on the engine. Really happy with the paint, looks even better after setting up.

I trash picked my drill press, needed a motor...... I don't need it often; but is comes in handy......I had an old motor (40s maybe?) laying around; it spins the Wrong way; I made the belt do a figure 8..... I smell rubber every time I use it; been that way for about 20 years....but it works 
Finished the manifolds today. Had to fix the attachment points on the heat shield. Welded a couple thin washers in it. Blasted everything. Coated the manifolds with eastwood High temp manifold paint and used Satin grill paint on the heat shield.
Engine is off the stand and on the K member. Trans is mated. Getting closer.
Got the starter and left exhaust manifold installed. Had to do some minimal grinding for the starter to sit properly. The exhaust heat shield was a PITA to fit right but I am happy with it.

Looks great!!
Got the steering gear and trans cooling lines on. The TQ is mounted is mounted and sorting out the throttle pressure linkage.
