904 tranny shifting issue

Happy Thanksgiving fellas. Hey, anyone know if the point of shift can be modified on our TF trannies? It seems mine is done shifting way too soon, and I end up revving way too high going down a side street at 45 mph. It'll be getting rebuilt next Spring, and I'm hoping there's some way to remedy this. (FYI: the rear end is a 3.55)

Pump pressure adjuster in the valve body, I know on a 727 it’s on the front drivers side under the pan. Not sure if same on a 904. It’s reverse thread so counter clockwise turns a few turns should do it.
