A,B,C,E bodies VS moparts ?

Been there a couple times. my mopar.com good site for info, engine wiring, (whole car wiring) decoding fender tag, Vin ect..

Don't like it over there much each.
I just wish all of you guys would post more and stop reading so damn much.
We need to lively up this place.
Especially on the racers forum.
If we start cranking out posts and replies all over we can get a great crowd and have some real fun.
I feel like the racers forum is too slow with nothing happening.

Clickish, thats an understatement.
Right now the General board members are feuding with the Unlawful Race guys.
General guys don't want the racers over there.
I look at the parts for sale otherwise I don't bother at all. I got everything I need over here!!!!!

:puke::thefinger::thefinger::thefinger::thefinger::thefinger::thefinger::thebirdman::icon_fU::icon_fU::icon_fU::icon_fU::icon_weed:Now it seems there's a back stabbbing piece of **** over there, ratting people out. i wonder??

:icon_scratch:For somebody that does not care for MOPARTS:icon_puke_r::moparts ghost::BSMeter:,and only goes to the parts forum:huh::icon_rolleyes::icon_pai:,you sure are up to the minute on what's goin' on in the different sections.:icon_hang::binkybaby::thatswck::gah :

I haven't been on Moparts for a while, but I have a couple things I want to add to this thread:

I'm mostly a lurker...on both sites. During the summer when I am actually working on my car and I have a tech question I would ask it on both sites. On Moparts I would usually have 5-10 answers in the first hour. On For B Bodies I would get about 2 in about 2 days.

I have been banned from this site several times. Zero times on Moparts.

There is a decent amount of activity on this site but it is a lot threads like "do you drop tools when you are working on your car?" Seriously? Let's make it a poll! LOL

Not trying to bash here because I LOVE Mopars and I enjoy both sites...just putting in my .02.

I post on BOTH,and quite a few others:bootyshake:BUT,,there ia a difference between bashing and voicing YOUR opininon and out & out BULLSHITTING.I have gotten MUCH better at not letting other people get me wound up.I can do that just fine on my own:wav::icon_pai::pottytrain2:

Ange,I don't really watch that much TV anymore,it's just background noise while I'm on my laptop.Yup,I am a regular on MOPARTS,here and several other forums. But when the bullshit flows,I call it as it is.I,m a straight shooter and have no need to B/S anybody. If I can share some info to help someone out or to make someone smile or laugh I will.If something rubs me the wrong way I will open my mouth{keyboard}.I also don't care for b/s'rs or hypocrites and will call it as I see it.You know me for a few years now and you know what I'm talkin about.Nothing worse than a 2 FACE!!!:bootyshake::eusa_boohoo:

The problem with Moparts is that the clique has several of there own agendas.

Some members are or were sponsors.

The owner protects these people as do many of their buddy moderators. If you ruffle the feathers of these members you quickly find yourself banned.

They work very hard at pushing things down the throats of the general membership with their with there "hoylier than thou" demeanor. As an example for one particular hot topic that comes up often there, they will tell you tell you that it is illegal even though it has been proven time and again by sighting the Federal and many state laws that it is indeed legal and the law has made special exceptions for it. I am not going to get into a heated debate about it here in an open forum as it is a sensitive subject to many in the hobby but if you want the link to the law on it PM or email me.

Moparts is harder to register. This (these) sites are easier to navigate for non computer guys. I have never got a response from anyone I have tried to contact at moparts about something. I look over there if I'm relly board but, get frustrated quick and pack it up. This is the only site for me, A,B,C,AND, E BODIES only. The staff here have done a great job! Thanks for all the hours of enjoyment and info.

i agree the system is old and not user friendly at alll

I agree, this is a great board. I am no Mopar expert by any means, but like others I am willing to help others and learn along the way.

:head_smack::rofl:The best was when Moparts banned my best friend SLIPAPEE .They thought it was me!!!

RIP my friend SLIPAPEE

SO SORRY YOU DIDN'T LIKE MY IREELEVENT POST ABOUT DROPPING TOOLS.
After I kept dropping about 10 different tools and banging my head on my lift, I rthought I'd like to see how many others are as clumsy as I am? Or if it was just me.:spam dragon:

I like it here better than moparts and just use mymopar for their great references.

And there are some very experienced & knowledgeable folks here as well who don't mind answering questions (and are usually correct); 696pack, superstock, propwash, etc.

Navigating over here IS much better and I ike that I can post MORE THAN 1 picture per post:bootyshake:

Not to get all philosophical but I recently lost a friend to cancer. He was 60 years old. His illness and death have really affected me in a way that I can't fully understand and explain. He left a wife and three kids- all wonderful people. I had an episode with the "Big C" myself but have been clean for 10 years now. That's not to say that it can't/ won't comeback.
That being said life is too short and the older we get the more we need to try to put aside the petty bullshit. Some are better than others at doing that. I'm trying to be a better person going foward and try to stay above the nonsense.
We will soon be out at the track doing what we love and hopefully can put the petty differences behind us.
C ya at the track... :ciao:

I agree. Im ok with working the computer but this forum is better for guys like me who have to deal with dial up (faster), Everyone seems friendly, we argue some but we are car guys. we get over it and get the job at hand done. One guy says life to short, Couldn't agree more with it...AND S-S-R YOU ARE NOT the only one bumping your head, im 6-5 Id think after 56 years i would learn, or at least where the helmets which brings me to the point of all the polls, threads like bumping heads, dropping things, who after a long day wouldn't like to sit around and have a little fun? I love the place. Keep it up those who watch over all us misfit toys! Ron
