Here's a photo of me warming up the hides in my 1968 Hemi Roadrunner at Amber Green Dragways (Now Rock Falls Raceway) back in 1976.

The hood is a 1969 Belvedere hood with a functional 5" scoop molded on.. I sold the car to my Brother many years ago.
Ok thanks. I was curious because I have a white 69 hemi roadrunner with the same looking hood.

Do you know the history on your car? There was white hemi 68 or 69 Road Runner that street raced around Salem OR in the late 70's/early 80's. That was a long time ago but I think it had a black hood with a scoop on it.

It came from the East coast. It had the standard Roadrunner hood on it when I bought it in 1975. I bought a 69 Belvedere hood from a local junkyard, and put the scoop on it. I worked at a auto body shop back then, and several years later I restored the entire car to the way you see it in my profile photo.

My car is from the east coast. Story I was told is it was a Plymouth dealership's drag car in Long Island. Has that same hood but it's black not white.

I am not far from you and have raced there a few times..... but what caught my attention was the Hi-Rev sign in the back. I grew up in Green Bay in the early-mid 80s, my old man was in to street rods back then and we were at Hi-Rev a lot. I LOVED that place as a young boy. I didnt realize there were others..... didnt know they were a chain.
