So now the truth be told,finally. Muslim extremists who reside in this country and obviously hate America and Americans bought at least two of these weapons legally to kill innocents and you defend there rights to own and purchase firearms.

All the reports are saying is that the guns used in the attacks were purchased legally 2 years ago, the reports do NOT say that the attackers purchased the guns legally, you are simply assuming this..This is a typical misdirection of facts by the media..We do not KNOW for sure where or how they got the guns..

And yes, i very much do support mine and your and every other persons rights to purchase firearms if they can legally do so...Once again, your solution isn't going to stop any terrorist from carrying out their acts..They will always find a way to get firearms, the recent Paris attacks are perfect example of that...

Of course, what they don't write about is this bill went a LOT further than just banning folks on the No-Fly list from buying firearms. The language of the law enabled the Attorney General (AG), with no advice or consent from anyone, to also prevent anyone or group he/she unilaterally deems a terrorist or likely to engage in terrorist activities as well. If the AG deems a survivalist group terrorists, they're banned. If the AG deems the NRA as a terrorist group, they're banned. If an AG deems the New Black Panthers a terrorist party, they're banned. Any AG could ban anyone they deem a threat and that opens a HUGE door for abuse just as we saw with the IRS scandal.

What's also not said is the NRA said they would support the bill if it was limited to folks on the No-Fly list, but the sponsors of the bill, Democrats, refused to remove the new power they were giving the AG, and that's why folks on the No-Fly list can still purchase firearms legally.

I was watching news this morning & they are very hesitant bout calling this an act of Muslim terrorism. Rather, they are reporting on those who are calling for more gun control. On the other hand, when the whack jobs shot up the church down south or the abortion clinic last week, the news had no problem immediately calling those shooters a white supremacist and a religious right nut job.....which they were.

The police in this incident deserve a lot of credit for tracking these two down and stopping them when they did. Looks like this wasn't going to be their only target, being that they had all of the ammo, pipe bombs, gear ect.

Why is it that we haven't heard anything about this when it happened this spring? And why has there been no follow up as to where these weapons are and what crimes have been committed with them? Why weren't these also under guard during it's stop over? This nation has some major issues that need accountability and answers to, as well as criminal punishment to those responsible for it!!
