Aftermarket intake question

I took the intake off of my 400 (Performer 383) for cleanup and painting and I’m noticing a pretty reasonable build up of unburnt fuel collecting in the EGR runners. I’m not using an EGR valve on the engine so I’m wondering if there is any benefit to blocking off those runners permanently and what you would use on an aluminum intake to do so. Hardblock or some equivalent? Or is this splitting hairs? Thanks in advance!

I am not familiar w/ what ur talking about for sure, never messed w/ one . But, moroso makes an A/B epoxy for head and intake use, must be roughed up and super cleaned to use .
 
Pretty sure the EGR uses the heat crossover port to dilute the intake charge for emissions. Maybe use a intake gasket that blocks the port, cant hurt and keeps the intake cooler.
