hello, all does anyone have any idea of what this air cleaner assy. goes to ? may not even be mopar ,never seen anything like it. definately looks cool and functional. tia ed

I wonder if this air cleaner may have been used in earlier cars with 2x4 carbs. Maybe something like the Chrysler 300 hemi cars of the mid 1950s? Back when they were doing the top end speed runs on the beaches and salt flats? Very interesting air cleaner, indeed...
 
Cool as heck got Smokey Yunick written all over it. I would make it fit on the 63 Belvedere Wagon W/ 2-4s. Where to find an air filter might be a chore.
 
Looks like what smokey used on 2x4 set ups on 70 camaros. I think I saw a pic of that on one of his cars in a camaro book I have.
