Was cleaning out the corner of the shop and found this old wall hanger that I have been using to scare the rats away. :) :)

Nobody could build a better K-car than Chrysler.

But then again, no one else wanted to.

Well, at least the K car was better than the Vega which came with many issues and at no extra cost! :D

We had hundreds of K-car wagons for company cars when I worked for AT&T back in the 80s. With A/C, AM/FM, PS, PB, Auto trans they were heaven compared to the old Chevy vans that we had been using. I remember that the K-cars were pretty good on the ice and snow and they were fairly reliable.

Started working at TRW (still am) in Dec. 1980. We were making rack and pinion steering for Pinto,Bobcat and Mustang 2. Got laid off 81,82,and 83 for at least 4 months each year. Then we got contract with Chrysler for K-Cars and Mini Vans. And it saved our bacon for the rest of the 80's. There are still 3 or 4 K-Cars in parking lot friends of mine bought back then when Chrysler offered employee discount to suppliers.

The Man Saved Chrysler & many jobs.....so what is your point?:eusa_eh:
