Im the exact same way as you are and Its part of my bipolar and antisocial thing where I get bored with people and stuff and just wana do my own thing .....I dont see it as bad but my wife is the same as yours where Its a family thing you gotta go and be nice and social and crap and thats just not how I am

unsociable ***? probably not, you can't help if most of the people you talk to are boring or uninteresting, I wish there was one other car guy at these functions or have some knowledge on cars but that'll never happen. I go for the wife because I love her and she puts up with my BS the rest of the year, even though like you I'd rather be back home......
