Hi Guys, I'm in Ireland where I'm restoring a right-hand drive '64 Polara sedan. After 3 years it's ready for paint but I really need the mix formula for Anniversary Gold. I didn't save a sample as I was originally going to paint it a deeper gold with more 'flake.

Can anyone help with this ?

Welcome from Minnesota and good luck with your paint. :headbang:

Thank you so much for that super-quick reply, I'm gonna forward that on to my paint guy.

Hey super-bee-ski, I replied to you in the newbie intro section but just in case, here's the latest;

The info you supplied was of limited use as we don't have DuPont and the other brands mentioned, my bodyman has been using a brand called Standox for decades and wouldn't change as he'd have to change thinners and primers.
However when I forwarded your post it sparked him into contacting an old-timer working at Standox in England who
located the mix code for Anniversary Gold, I saw a sample yesterday and it's spot-on. My car should see paint in the next few days, when it does I'll post pics. The ONLY all-American car show in Ireland is on April 26th at Kilbeggan,
County Meath and I'm hoping to have it ready for then.
Thanks for your help from P O'Lara
