Another hobby... Guitars!

I hear the word guitar and it often brings me to this thought.

Played for about 6 months, as a teen. Found cars, and never looked back.... We do however, have about 26 autographed wall-hangers from famous bands we like, and met at meet and greets. We quit that, as all the meets became more like an assembly-line and cheap. I'd still take a guitar to a small venue, and take a chance. I love older music, and have guitars from 70's to a few modern/obscure bands.

Ozzy and Zakk autographed. Great guys.

I currently have about 18 guitars, electric and acoustic. mostly Fender electrics from the '60s some fairly rare stuff and some just nice older stuff. I'm in the process of getting rid of some now.
Just going to keep my two everyday guitars and a couple of the really rare ones,

Explorer is one I don't have.

...but now I'm looking.
I've been eyeing one of these, really like the modern spin on an Explorer plus it looks comfy to play sitting down. They also have a Jeff Loomis addition with better pickups, tuners, etc. I like Jackson necks so I'm always leaning that way anyways.

I don’t see a problem with too many guitars!

I have access to a slab of "bullet-proof" lucite that I'd love to use to make a body for my too light flying V.

My advise to everyone that asks me….buy vintage guitars, they hold or increase in value, and usually have a really good sound. The internet is flooded with cheap guitars, which play ok, but if you don’t like it, or want to buy a better guitar, will be almost impossible to sell.
