Found a deal privately, but have always used Prestone….and is there a shelf life for unopened containers?

Probably a little bit....how old is it?

Gonna find out
I quit using antifreeze years ago but I'm in the south and the majority of my vehicles are garaged and the one that isn't gets a heat lamp underneath it during cold spells. And no, straight water isn't used.

I use a rust inhibitor and a water pump lubricant.....and that's it.

Some of us have 4 seasons, and spring/fall you may never know which one is coming next week!

We get a hard freeze here too from time to time but like I said, all my vehicles are garaged except for one and that one gets a heat lamp under it and it is protected from the north wind. So far so good and don't have to put up with the crap that antifreeze causes.

Wally world has prestone concentrate for just over $12 a gallon and distilled water for around $1. I'd be wanting a real smokin deal on the peak 50/50.

What are you guys talking about???

Why pay antifreeze prices for 50% water?
The drinking water I buy is 20 cents a gallon, distilled is around a buck.
I'd consider 50/50 IF it was LESS than half the price of the concentrate, but it NEVER is!

The plastic jug is 99% of the cost. :D

Real answer - no, the antifreeze doesn’t expire, so it’s still good. There are several types of Peak 50/50 (fyi)
