No upgrades yet but got mine running like a top. 26 dollars for crossover tube orings and heater grid gaskets and about 2 hours labor and no more bleed down. Fires instantly after sitting. I,m so happy with my beast.

Mines a dually with a manual. I have already replaced a clutch from too much playing in the mud and dragging trees and things at my property.Keep losing injector prime and i,m fixing to tear into it. Hoping its just o rings but if you gotta work on it why not improve it.I,m on the cummins forum as daredevil but not tdr
I have a 98
12 valve that did the same thing(prime) & all you'll probably need to do is replace the rubber fuel lines behind the pump. They will rot & start sucking air . I got 254k on mine now, still stock. 16 in town, 14-16 towing, and 22-23 empty on highway. 4wd,auto,Quadcab.

Just installed a cummins cat fuel filter system today. $169 from throttle up industries. No drilling required. 2 micron filter. It mounts to the frame rail. It's supposed to only take 45 minutes to install but mine took a little longer. Where I had to cut the fuel line was in a bend and I had a very hard time getting the compression fitting on. No leaks and it's running great. Very cheap insurance for all my new injectors and pumps. Quality product and it arrived in 2 days with free shipping and tracking.

Nice setup, 383.

I had to mount mine behind the transfer case instead of in front of it because I have a fass ddrp lift pump mounted in front of the case. I would have been done in less than 20 mins. if I could've put it in front.

I'm jealous too. It's not my truck. Just the pic from the website. Although mine is not too far from that. Every spring I hit the underside with a degreaser and pressure washer.

Just checked my transfer case fluid. It was black and runny as water. I hope that's what was causing the vibration between 70-80 mph. Went and got my camper from my farm in ohio this morning. It pulled really good up to 70 mph but after thT I could hold it to the floor and just wouldn't do much more. I hope it's just a stopped up filter as I have not changed my canister filter yet after putting on my cat filter.

Just took it for a test drive. Most of the vibration is gone. I put 2 quarts of atf4 and one quart of Lucas stop slip in the trans case. Maybe after driving some more it will all go away. I'm hoping the Lucas will seal up the leak between the case and trans also. I really don't want to drop it to replace the seal. It's not leaking enough to drip on the driveway, just enough to drive me crazy.

.

Well after driving to work it's still there. I don't think it's any different than before. Any ideas on what it could be?
