Nothing is a forever fix in the toilet floor gasket area. The oldest gasket I removed was a Asbestos gasket ring from pre WWII. Come to think of it I haven't dealt with a toilet with a 2'' elbow between the tank and the bowl in some time. Drawing up that 2'' spud was a stressful job.
