Interesting photo. I'm guessing Western Europe toward the end of the war. No identifiable turret that I can see…maybe a bridging vehicle for an engineer unit? Nazi flags on top to ID the vehicles so that the Luftwaffe doesn't bomb them. Also, the swastikas on the flags are blacked out…possibly a post-Nazi German military archive photo that has been "cleaned up".
