Looks cool but don't like wearing jewelry of any kind. That would just sit in the dresser like all of ones that I have now. My family finally figured out I don't wear them lol

Timex: takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'. :headbang:

I agree I have a digital timex , have used this watch at work and have abused it and it takes a licking and keeps on ( running ) ticking. For $19.00 how can you go wrong.:headbang:

Yup,
me...I too am a "watch maven"
My niche are the Omegas but the Breitling is perhaps my #2 FAV. (I have a B2)
Anyway...here it is....
WAY TO GO !!
I like it!!!!

PS: I'll trade you a Edelbrock 6-pack manifold and an old GTO carb for it ? (LOL)

Years ago i brought one of those Seiko Drivers watches... Very nice...It sits on the desk. I use my cell all the time.....Nice watch anyway...

I have a 1959 Elgin "Chevrolet". My wife's grandfather got it for 25 years at Saginaw Transmission.

Whatever the dollar store has for under 10 bucks.Cut the band off and in the pocket it goes. When the battery is dead i pitch it and buy another.

i have a " Fred Flintstone" model sundial . i keep poking myself in the eye with it tho.....someone should invent something better than this im thinkin '

watch

I'm not much into jewelery but I do like watches, so for our 15th Anniv, I bought a matching pair of Rolex oyster perpetual date, stainless steel watches for him and her. It's a pretty tough watch.

Wow Mar, Do you need a pilots license to where that! Pretty fancy watch there, I have a Armitron for good that i keep stem pulled to save the battery, and have a old keeps on ticking Timex for every day use.. I always liked the timex, this one has indigo, see it great when its dark. Nothing fancy here..

Bond, Mar Bond. LOL

no kids...no wife...just a fine MoPar....and a couple fine watches...

only jewelry i wear is my watch/chronometer (no bracelet, no chain, no earrings)....screw my phone to check the time. i would rather look at a quality timepiece than an idiot gauge.

I've had a Tag Heuer for 7 years (3 year annv present to myself)...and it took whatever I can dish out (including Northern Pike Goo). worth every penny.

pondered on getn a Rolex, but the only one i saw that I liked was the sub-mariner and that was waaaaay out of my $$$ range. maybe for my 20 year annv...(i do like Rolex's!!!)

so.....i got a Breitling...awesome watch! with both my good watches, it's all about the mechanical aspect of it that made me want me to buy them.

For this kind of $$$$ it better be a self-winding watch. If I had to buy a quartz watch, i WOULD rather buy a Timex or I would revive one of my 4 Fossil watches!!!

next may be an Omega, if they make an Automatic...:sideways tongue:

Yes, these things cost an ***-load of $$$, but they are all mechanical, and that's why they cost so f**kin much.

Sweet watch, I love the large easy to read face and stainless finish, congratulations. I wore an Omega Automatic for years then switched to a Seiko 5 Automatic, keeps just as good time but doesn't make me wince every time I smack it into something since it is a tenth of the cost of the Omegas. I love an automatic watch, all my battery powered watches usually go a year or more unworn once the batteries die. Low priority I guess.

Ten watches here, seven of 'em with dead batteries. :eusa_doh: Favorite is a Fossil pocket watch that my kid got me for Father's Day years ago. And I still have my wind-up Timex from 1972, same year as my Mopar! Keeps time within +/- a few minutes and has lost all of its gold color, but still a great Old Faithful when the other nine are all battery DOA.

I have a Chrysler Diamlier watch. They almost destroyed Chrysler ,so someone should have been watching them.

I just look out my cell window at the bell tower on top of the courthouse when I want to know what time it is. But I do have a pretty nice collection of calenders going back 8yrs. now......Just kidin, how cud I work on the Bee locked up.
